FAQs
Do I need a referral?
You don’t need a referral to make an appointment, however sessions cannot be claimed through Medicare without a referral. Please see the ‘Services’ link for more information, or contact our clinic to discuss.
What do I need to bring to my first appointment?
To help us best understand our client’s history and needs, please bring reports from paediatricians, psychologists, Occupational therapists and speech pathologists as well as school reports, if possible.
What should I do if I can't make my appointment?
We courteously ask for your consideration in providing at least 24 hours prior notice if you are unable to attend a therapy session, and at least 48 hours for assessments. We pride ourselves on providing quality assessment and intervention to all clients in our care, and aim to see our clients as soon as possible rather than putting them on a waiting list. Providing our clinicians with ample notice allows us to offer the session to someone who may be waiting for a suitable appointment.
